Guidelines
The maximum donation allowed per individual is $3,500 per election (primary and general election are separate elections).
The James Odom Committee wants to protect your personal information. If you give $200 or more per election, the James Odom Committee is required to include your personal information (name, address, employer, and occupation) in its publicly accessible campaign contribution reporting to the Federal Election Commission and the Internal Revenue Service.
If you give $199 or less per election, the James Odom Committee will collect your personal information (name, address, employer, and occupation) but is not required to and will not report this information to the Federal Election Commission and the Internal Revenue Service.
To Donate, You Certify the Following
- I am a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (green card holder) 18 years of age or older; this donation is made from my personal credit or debit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person; this donation is from my own personal funds and not funds provided to me by another person or organization.
- I will not be reimbursed by anyone for this donation.
- This donation is not made using any funds from a corporation, labor organization, national bank, foreign national (without a green card), federal contractor, or any other federally impermissible source.
Donations to the James Odom Committee are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
